Commentary

The sequence of letters suggests the ending of a noun in the Nominative, for which there are many possibilities, e.g. civic or religious offices θεωροί, ἔφοροι, ὑδροφόροι, etc. Omicron is not likely to be representing omega at this date (early 4th cent BCE), but toponyms such as Μεγαροῖ are also possible.

The graffito is along the rim of a cup, which is often where we find dedications. It would not be a common type, but Nominative forms of divine names are known on offerings, so [Διόσκου]ροι could be considered. The meaning of the following eta or heta is unclear.
